Contrat de co-entreprise
A contractual arrangement between two or more parties to combine resources, expertise, or capital for a specific project or ongoing business activity while remaining separate legal entities. In the GCC, joint ventures are particularly common in construction megaprojects, oil and gas concessions, and real estate development, where foreign partners team with local entities to access market knowledge, government relationships, and licensing requirements. JVAs can be structured as incorporated JVs (creating a new SPV entity) or unincorporated JVs (purely contractual, with no separate legal personality).
